Showtime Pools, WordPress Website
A custom WordPress site for Showtime Pools, a multi-location Los Angeles pool service company. Built for local lead generation across Sherman Oaks, Century City, and Beverly Hills, with service pages, a quote-capture flow, Google reviews integration, and an affiliate program wired to a GoHighLevel webhook.
Showtime Pools handles repairs, weekly service, remodels and equipment across Los Angeles under one crew. The site exists to turn local search into booked quotes.
The problem
Pool service is a local, high-trust purchase. Someone with a leaking pool in Sherman Oaks is not comparing national brands, they are looking for a crew that covers their street and will not disappear. A generic five-page site does not answer that, and it does not rank for the searches that matter, which are always service plus neighbourhood.
What I built
Twelve-plus service pages, one per job type. Leak detection, tile cleaning, resurfacing, automation upgrades, custom design and the rest. Each one is a separate indexable page rather than a bullet on a shared list, because that is how someone searching for pool leak detection actually finds you.
Neighbourhood sections per service area. Sherman Oaks, Century City, Beverly Hills and the surrounding areas, so the site is relevant to a local search rather than a generic Los Angeles one.
A founder-led story. Steve Adams, operating since 2019. On a trust purchase, a real name and a real history outperform stock photography.
Embedded Google Business reviews. Pulled in live rather than retyped as testimonials, so the social proof is verifiable.
A quote flow with a promise attached. Get a Free Quote, with an itemised written quote inside one business day. A specific commitment converts better than a contact form, because it tells the visitor exactly what happens next.
An affiliate program wired to GoHighLevel. Referral signups post through a webhook straight into the client CRM, so a new partner lands in the pipeline without anyone rekeying it. That is the piece most website builds leave out, and it is the difference between a form and a working lead system.
The stack
Custom WordPress theme in PHP, no page builder, so the templates stay fast and there is no plugin subscription holding the layout hostage. Cloudflare in front with full strict SSL, which encrypts the hop between Cloudflare and the origin. Flexible SSL is the common shortcut here and it both leaves that hop in plain text and causes redirect loops.
Mobile-first throughout, because a homeowner standing next to a broken pump is on a phone.
Why it is built this way
Every decision on this site serves one number: quotes requested. The service pages exist to be found, the neighbourhood sections exist to be relevant, the reviews exist to be believed, and the webhook exists so nothing gets lost between the form and the follow-up.
