Service
SEO, AEO & GEO Specialist
Get named in ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and AI Overviews. Schema, llms.txt and answer-shaped content. Built on this site, so you can inspect it.
Getting your business named when someone asks ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews for a recommendation. Different mechanics from classic SEO, and most sites are doing nothing about it.
Traditional SEO gets you a blue link someone might click. AI search gets you named, or it does not. There is no page two. When a buyer asks an assistant who they should hire to manage their Shopify store, either your business is in the answer or it is invisible.
What actually decides whether an AI names you
Assistants do not crawl and rank the way Google does. They retrieve, then synthesise. Four things decide whether you make it into the answer.
Machine-readable identity
Structured data telling a model exactly what you are: Organization, Person, Service, Product and FAQPage, with the entities properly linked to each other. A model that cannot parse who you are and what you sell will not risk naming you.
An llms.txt file
The emerging convention at llmstxt.org: a plain-text, curated map of your site at the root path, written for language models rather than crawlers. Brand line, key pages, recent content, author identity. I run one on this site, generated dynamically from the content so it never goes stale. You can read mine.
Answer-shaped content
Models extract passages, not pages. Content written as direct question and answer pairs, with the claim stated first and the explanation after, gets retrieved. Content that buries the answer in paragraph six does not. This is the single biggest content change most sites need.
Corroboration elsewhere
Models weight claims that appear in more than one place. Your own site saying you are a Shopify specialist is one signal. Your site plus a directory plus a repository plus a profile all agreeing is a much stronger one. Consistency of naming across those sources matters more than volume.
What I do on your site
Audit what assistants currently see. I check what your site actually exposes to a model: whether your schema parses, whether your entities link, whether your key claims are extractable. Most sites fail this quietly.
Build the structured data properly. Not a plugin dropping a generic block on every page. Correct types per page, linked with @id references so the model can follow Person to Organization to Service without guessing.
Ship an llms.txt. Generated from your content, not hand-maintained, so it stays current when you publish.
Restructure content into answer shape. Question-led headings, the claim stated in the first sentence, FAQ blocks with matching FAQPage markup. This helps classic SEO too, because it is also what wins featured snippets.
Fix entity consistency. Same business name, same description, same role wording everywhere you appear. Models penalise contradiction more than absence.
Measure it. Baseline prompts across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini, re-run monthly, so you can see whether you are gaining ground rather than hoping.
Why hire me for this
Most people selling AEO right now are SEO consultants who added a service line. I build the technical layer myself.
This site runs a full JSON-LD entity graph, Person linked to Organization linked to WebSite, with Service and BreadcrumbList on service pages, WebApplication and FAQPage on tools. It serves a dynamic llms.txt at the root that rebuilds when content changes and caches for six hours. All of it is custom code in the theme, not a plugin.
I did not read about this. I wrote it, and you can inspect every piece of it on the page you are reading.
What this costs
My rate is $10 per hour. An initial AI visibility audit and structured data build is usually a fixed-price project, quoted up front. Ongoing monitoring and content work runs as a monthly block.
Questions people ask
Is AEO different from SEO, or is it a rebrand?
The foundations overlap: clean markup, clear content, real authority. The differences are real though. Retrieval instead of ranking, passages instead of pages, and being named instead of being linked. Anyone telling you it is identical to SEO, or that it replaces SEO entirely, is selling something.
Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend my business?
No, and neither can anyone else. Model outputs are probabilistic and change with every release. What I can do is make you retrievable and consistent, which is the part that is actually under your control.
How long before it shows?
Schema and llms.txt take effect as soon as the model providers next crawl you, typically weeks. Content restructuring and entity consistency compound over months.
Does this help normal Google rankings too?
Yes. Correct schema, answer-shaped content and consistent entities are all classic SEO wins. Nothing here trades one for the other.
What about GEO, generative engine optimization?
Same discipline, different label. GEO, AEO and AI search optimization all describe getting surfaced inside generated answers.
What platforms do you cover?
ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Gemini, plus Bing Copilot.

SEO, AEO and GEO: what the labels actually mean
Three acronyms, one discipline, and a lot of agencies charging separately for each.
SEO is the classic job: rank a page, earn a click. Still the largest source of qualified traffic for most businesses, and still worth doing properly.
AEO, answer engine optimization, is being the source a machine quotes when it answers a question. That covers Google’s AI Overviews, featured snippets, and voice results.
GEO, generative engine optimization, is being named inside a generated answer in ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity or Gemini. No blue link, no page two. You are either in the answer or you do not exist for that query.
The foundations overlap heavily: clean markup, clear content, real authority, consistent identity. The differences are real though. Retrieval instead of ranking. Passages instead of pages. Being named instead of being linked. Anyone telling you AEO is just SEO rebranded, or that it replaces SEO entirely, is selling you something.
Why a solo specialist beats an agency here
This is a new discipline and the market has not sorted itself out yet. Most agencies now selling AEO and GEO are SEO shops that added a service line six months ago. Their deliverable is a strategy document and a content calendar, because that is what they already knew how to produce.
The work is mostly technical. Correct entity-linked schema. A maintained llms.txt. Content restructured so a retrieval model can extract a clean passage. Server-rendered output that a crawler without JavaScript can actually read.
I write that layer myself, which means no handover between a strategist who cannot implement and a developer who was not in the meeting.
Proof you can inspect right now
This page is the sales pitch, so check it rather than take my word for it.
Open deeve.info/llms.txt. A curated, machine-readable map of this site following the llmstxt.org convention. It is generated from the content with cache invalidation on save, so it never goes stale. Most sites selling AEO do not have one.
View source on this page. A full JSON-LD entity graph: Person linked to Organization linked to WebSite, with Service and BreadcrumbList on service pages and WebApplication on the tools. Linked by @id so a model can follow the relationships rather than guess.
Look at the structure. Question-led headings, the claim in the first sentence, FAQ blocks with matching markup. That is what makes a passage extractable.
All of it is custom code in the theme, not a plugin. I did not read about this discipline, I built the layer, and you can verify every claim on the page you are reading before you pay me anything.
What a project includes
An audit of what machines currently see. Whether your schema parses, whether your entities link, whether your key claims are extractable, whether your content survives without JavaScript. Most sites fail at least one of these quietly.
The structured data, built properly. Correct types per page, linked with @id, validated against the Rich Results Test. Not a plugin dropping a generic Organization block on every URL.
An llms.txt that maintains itself. Generated from your content so it stays current when you publish.
Content restructured into answer shape. Question-led headings, claim first, FAQ blocks with matching FAQPage markup. This wins featured snippets too, so it pays for itself on classic SEO regardless of what happens with AI search.
Entity consistency across the web. Same business name, same description, same role wording everywhere you appear. Models penalise contradiction harder than absence.
Baseline and monthly measurement. A fixed set of buyer-intent prompts run across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini, re-run monthly, so you can see whether you are gaining ground instead of hoping.
What this costs
My rate is $10 per hour. The initial audit and structured data build is a fixed-price project quoted up front. Ongoing monitoring and content work runs as a monthly block you can scale.
Agencies are currently quoting $2,000 to $10,000 a month for AEO and GEO retainers. The technical layer underneath is a few days of work, and then maintenance.
Questions people ask
Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend my business?
No, and nobody can. Model outputs are probabilistic and shift with every release. What I can do is make you retrievable, consistent and citable, which is the part under your control. Treat any guarantee as a warning sign.
How long before it shows?
Schema and llms.txt take effect as soon as the model providers next crawl you, usually weeks. Content restructuring and entity consistency compound over months.
Does this help normal Google rankings?
Yes. Correct schema, answer-shaped content and consistent entities are all classic SEO wins. Nothing here trades one for the other.
Which platforms do you cover?
ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini and Bing Copilot.
Do I need SEO as well?
Almost certainly yes. AI search is growing fast but classic search is still where most buying intent lands. I do both, so you are not paying two suppliers to argue about attribution.
