Find your UPI ID
In Google Pay tap your profile photo; in PhonePe open Profile, then My UPI ID; in Paytm open Profile, then UPI and Payment Settings. It looks like name@okicici.

Type the UPI ID and the name payers should see. Add an amount only for a fixed price, such as fees or an entry ticket.

UPI codes that get you paid
- 01Leave the amount empty unless every payment is the same. Payers then type what they owe, and one code works for every sale.
- 02Always test with your own app before printing: the name you typed is the name payers see, so a typo makes them hesitate.
- 03Receiving money never needs your PIN. Your code only lets people pay you. Anyone asking you to scan a code or enter a PIN "to receive" money is running a scam.
- 04Running a business? A merchant QR from a payment provider shows a verified business name and higher limits. This generator makes the personal kind.
- 05Protect it with lamination and error correction Q or H. A scratched code at the counter costs sales, and extra correction lets it survive wear.
Frequently asked questions
Is this UPI QR code generator free?
Yes. The generator is free with no signup, and the code is made on your device. Paying you by UPI from a bank account costs the payer nothing.
Which apps can scan the code?
Every UPI app: Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, bank apps and the rest. The code uses NPCI’s standard upi://pay link, which all of them read.
How do I find my UPI ID?
In Google Pay, tap your profile photo; the ID is under your name. In PhonePe, open Profile and then My UPI ID. In Paytm, open Profile, then UPI and Payment Settings. A UPI ID looks like name@okicici.
Can I make a UPI QR code with a fixed amount?
Yes. Enter an amount and the payer’s app opens with it ready to pay, which suits fees, tickets and fixed prices. Leave it empty and the payer types the amount themselves.
Can someone take money from my account with my QR code?
No. A UPI QR code can only be used to pay you. Money leaves an account only when its owner enters their UPI PIN, so never share yours, and never enter it to "receive" a payment.
Is there a limit on UPI payments?
Person to person UPI payments are capped at ₹1 lakh a day by default, and your bank may set a lower limit. Merchant categories can have higher limits.
What is the difference between a personal and a merchant UPI QR code?
A personal code, like the one made here, points to your own UPI ID. A merchant code comes from a payment provider after business verification and shows a verified business name, with higher limits and settlement reports.
What is a static UPI QR code?
A static code holds your UPI ID and never changes, so you print it once. A dynamic code is made fresh for each order by a payment provider, with a transaction reference for that sale.
