A unique invoice number, the issue date and due date, your business name and contact details, the client’s name and address, a description of each item with quantity, price and amount, any tax and discount, the total due, and how to pay. Many countries also require your tax or VAT number, which you can add here.

Net 30 means the full amount is due 30 days after the invoice date. Net 7, Net 15 and Net 60 work the same way. Due on receipt means payment is expected straight away. Choose the terms here and the due date is calculated for you.

A proforma invoice is a preliminary bill sent before goods are delivered or work is done, showing what the final invoice will be. It is used for advance payments, customs and import paperwork, and is not a demand for payment in the accounting sense. Set the type to Proforma to make one.

An invoice asks for payment; a receipt confirms that payment was made. A receipt here shows the date paid, the payment method, a PAID stamp and a zero balance. Only issue a receipt for money you have actually received.

Tax exclusive prices have tax added on top, so a 100 item at 12% costs 112. Tax inclusive prices already contain the tax, so the 100 is 89.29 plus 10.71 tax. Pick the one that matches how your prices are quoted, and the invoice shows the tax either way.

Use a prefix and a sequence that never repeats, such as INV-2026-0001, INV-2026-0002. The Next number button takes the current number and adds one, keeping the zeros. Avoid restarting the count or skipping numbers, which raises questions in an audit.

Yes. Each line takes its own tax rate, to three decimals (8.875% works), and the totals list the tax for each rate separately. You can also add a discount to a line, a discount to the whole invoice, and shipping that is taxed or not.

It supports 44 currencies, including the US dollar, euro, pound, Philippine peso, Indian rupee, yen and dirham. Amounts use each currency’s own decimals (none for yen, three for the Kuwaiti dinar), and you can choose 1,234.56, 1.234,56, 1 234,56 or 1,23,456.78 number formatting.

The PDF is real text, not a picture, so it prints sharply and you can search and copy from it; accounting software can read it too. To change it, edit it here and download it again. Your last invoice is kept in this browser.

Yes. Copy link puts the whole invoice into the address itself, so it opens ready to download on any device, with nothing stored on a server. The logo stays out of the link to keep it short, so add it again after opening, or send the PDF.
