DECKO Room Visualizer, Shopify Landing Page (Roomvo, 5 Regions)
A custom Shopify landing page integrating the Roomvo visualiser for DECKO, rolled out across five regional stores (AU, US, NZ, EU, HU). Shoppers upload a room photo and preview DECKO products installed in their own space before they buy, across eight product lines, no account needed.
DECKO sells decking tiles, wall panels, flooring and green walls across five markets. Surface products are hard to buy online because customers cannot picture how a tile looks in their own space, so they hesitate.
The problem
Hesitation is the whole problem in surfaces. A shopper likes a product, cannot imagine it installed at home, and leaves to think about it. That is the drop-off, and no amount of extra photography fixes it because the missing photo is of their room, not the product.
What I built
Roomvo integration. Roomvo is the room visualiser used by thousands of flooring and surface retailers. A visitor uploads or takes a photo and gets a realistic render of the product installed in their own space.
Eight collections wired in. WPC deck tiles, SPC flooring, Verdure green walls, Soundscape acoustic panels, Flexistone and more, each with a try-it button routing to the matching shop collection.
Before-and-after sliders and a three-step explainer. So a visitor understands what the tool does before being asked to upload anything.
A QR handoff for desktop visitors. This was the clever part. Most desktop visitors have the photo of their room on their phone, not their computer. The page generates a reveal-on-click QR code that hands them to mobile to snap and continue, which removes the single biggest drop-off point in the flow.
Rolled out across all five regions. Adapted per market including translated versions, not copy-pasted.
The stack
Built native in Shopify and Liquid with custom JavaScript. The visualiser is a third-party platform, so the work was the integration and the conversion-focused page around it.
The lesson in it
The QR handoff came from asking where people actually stop, not from a design brief. Most conversion problems are like that: a specific friction nobody has named yet, rather than a page that needs to look better.
