AgriBooks, Farm Financial Management System

A farm financial and crop management system that tracks revenue, expenses, and profit per land and crop cycle. Built for sugarcane and pineapple operations, with partner profit-sharing, expense breakdowns, and 12-month financial charts.

agribooks

AgriBooks gives farm operators a real profit and loss figure per piece of land and per crop cycle.

The problem

Farm bookkeeping in a spreadsheet collapses at the point where you have several lands, several crop cycles running at different stages, and partners taking a share of specific cycles. The question a farmer actually needs answered is whether this land, on this crop, this cycle, made money. A single ledger cannot tell you that.

What I built

Per-cycle profitability. Each active cycle, by crop, hectares and start date, shows its own revenue, expenses and profit.

Partner balances split per cycle. Which is what makes profit-sharing arrangements workable instead of a source of arguments.

A rollup dashboard. Total revenue, expenses, net profit, margin, land count and outstanding balances in one view.

Expense breakdown by category. Land preparation, cultivation, fertilizer, labour, pesticide and seeds, so cost overruns are attributable rather than general.

Revenue versus expenses charting. Built with Chart.js for trend visibility across cycles.

The stack

PHP with MySQL, a Tailwind interface and Chart.js. Built to replace spreadsheet bookkeeping for agricultural businesses running multiple lands and partners.
